I know Christmas is over....but a friend of mine saw another one of these "ornaments" I made and wanted one. It's a cd covered with plain white card stock! First I embossed the large snowflake with clear embossing powder. I then painted the background with white and blue acrylic paint. Then I took a smaller snowflake from the same set and stamped it with chipped sapphire distress ink, love that color! I stamped the lamp post on plain white card stock and embossed with clear bark embossing powder from recollections. I added some bling to a couple of the snowflakes that I colored with stream alcohol ink. The back is just the music stamp from t!m mini Christmas set and pine needles distressed then edges with vintage photo.
The envelope I made with the Martha Stewart scoreboard and then I used different Tattered angels stencils to decorate it, then finished it off with t!m's uber wonderful scroll stamp!
Well, hope your having a super day and thanks for stopping by!

What a great idea! I really like how you have done this - the colours are so clear and vibrant - I love it! do you have to use a special glue !

DeleteWhat a fabulous idea to use a cd to create an ornament. Love it!! It's so beautifully created! Oh, and thank you so much for commenting on my whimsy card. I got your comment, the reason why it didn't show up is because I have comment moderation enabled because I get too much spam.
