Fairy in a Tin

These lovelies came to me from my wonderful  boss!

Sorry for the poor pic...this is what happens when you don't put on your extra set of eyes..lol
Outside of a tin covered with polymer clay..so very cool! The top is covered with Kraft glassine
paper and covered with ultra thick bronze utee.

My little fairy and her prince?? I fussy cut them out from Graphic 45 "Once Upon a Time Springtime" paper.
I added some moss and I am Roses, a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies....and some lovely
diamond stickles.

Here's a close up of the outside.....yummy! I took another piece of clay and stamped a Martha Stewart
labels stamp and tried to trim it after I baked it...came out ok I think! I named my fairy "sweet pea"
because she's so sweet and tiny!
I first painted the outside with victorian green acrylic paint, wiped with a damp paper towel, then added some
burnt umber, and burnt sienna. I did the same color for the top...love this look:)

And here is my Fairy in a Tin with my pretties! Shhhh....she's taking a nap:)
Hope you enjoyed your visit today, I do love having you here!
Have a wonderful week!

Little girls would love the magic of this. sharing little fairy storys with your children / grand child. you could make a little fairy story/ album to go with this.
