t!m's Tag for July!

Hey buds!!! Just wanted to share the tag I created for July! You can find t!m's version here. I had a blast with this one! My main ingredient is distress stains! I used Fired brick, broken china and the infamous white picket fence. I found this really fun and cool technique on the web, sorry I can't remember where. Prime your distress stain, then pounce it on your project and you get this so cool splatter effect!! You have to be careful though because if you pounce to hard the stain will travel......lol! I got a little carried away and got a couple of spots on my wall:( When I learn how to remove it I will let ya know...hehe. So, on with the tag! I stamped the umbrella man with distress embossing ink then covered it with distressed black soot. I kind of like how some of him is missing(poor guy). You can see all the stamps I used are from t!m....love his stamps:))) The little clip is from Basic Grey. I took some alcohol ink to color it....gives it a distressed look.
Well, thanks so much for peeking! Have a great weekend all!
♥hugs♥

  8. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote
the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics
to drive the message home a little bit, but other than
that, this is fantastic blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.

  9. I believe what you posted was actually very logical. But, what about this?
suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a post title to maybe get folk's attention?
I mean "t!m's Tag for July!" is kinda plain. You ought
to glance at Yahoo's front page and note how they write article headlines to get people to open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get people interested about what you've got to say.
Just my opinion, it could bring your website a little livelier.
