Yeah, I know....this has nothing to do with art but.......I just wanted to give all my cyber buds

some hugs today:)) A little inspiration  for you spread a hug!

You probably have seen this video before but.....it's so worth watching.

So my friends........I hope you get a hug today.......or give one away. 

I come from a family who is not afraid of hugs....it just feels right.

Love Mini Album

This is a picture heavy post:) I love making mini albums. It's another way to play and master different techniques..or at least try..lol.
The big flower on the cover is a coffee filter die cut with sir t!m's tattered floral die and colored with glimmer mist. The flower near the button is handmade with a sprinkle of copper embossing powder. A couple of  Martha Stewart butterflies some Prima bling and a Tattered Angels frame with a handmade stick pin. The corners were made with regular white card stock and embossed with Recollections clear bark embossng powder..love that stuff! I put four layers on to make them look kinda like dark wood.

*Swoon*........love the chunkiness...

Inside first page....sorry about not being able to see my vintage lady...such a sweet image. Flower is made with Kraft glassine and vellum.

My daughter liked this part of the paper and wanted it to look really, really old....lol. Some more sprinkle of copper embossing powder on the flower.

A pocket with some I Am Roses and some pretty ribbon. Another button on the right I turned into a clip:)

More butterflies........

A couple of pockets with some more pretty ribbon. The flower has ultra thick utee on it. I was trying to make it look like it just got rained on....how'd I do?

I love this page...those are recollections roses I put some glue on them then sprinkled some Martha Stewart fine glitter on them...so pretty! A photo can be tucked inside the photo corners..very cool. The other page s just a pocket with a tag...another lovely button made into a paper clip.

More pockets........

Another pocket on the left page....the right page was made with my cricut and just partially glued down so a photo can be tucked underneath.

Ahhh yes, the left page is a chipboard piece I covered with copper embossing powder and the flower is made out of wax paper! I die cut a bunch of flowers with t!m's tattered floral die and just sprayed it with mustard seed glimmer mist......such a pretty color. If you have glimmer mist give it a try....it's very cool.

Photo mat with oh so pretty flower...the little insert with the pearls with a little tag, it also opens up for more photos......picture of inside below:) The page under the insert is another pocket page with a rolled satin ribbon flower and very distressed tag.

Love, love these pages......grunge and distress....the heart is made from polymer clay...isn't she a beauty:)

Are ya still with me???....lol. The left page has those little charm thingys I made hanging from the lantern. If you untie the ribbon you can put a couple of photos in there...the last page is a whole lot of layering and stamping and emobossing.....tuck a photo behind the tag...this is my daughters favorite page..she says:)

The last photo is the binding I used. I took grungepaper,  Ran it through my cuttlebug with t!m postcard embossing folder and sprayed it with various colors of glimmer mist!
